Parging and Resurfacing for Foundation Walls

Parging provides a decorative finish to the above-grade portion of your home’s foundation walls. It is generally used to improve the appearance of poured concrete and concrete block foundations. The practice also provides another barrier to water leaks and is essential to protecting the insulation from impacts and inclement weather. If your home has parging with minor cracks, it may be time to have us apply a resurfacing layer. Resurfacing with a thin parging coat can usually be completed in one day. If your foundation has severe cracks or your home is missing large pieces of parging, the old parging may need to be completely removed and a new parging layer applied to ensure a long-lasting finish.
